Who Cares about Saudi League Soccer?

Not me!  Couldn’t care less!

I used to say, “Where can you even watch these deserters and mutineers?”  An answer has been delivered, at least for our readers, stateside!  Now it’s on Fox.

They deserve one another!

In the interest of staying informed, (so I can inform you!) I watched today’s game.  It was Al Somethingorother at Al Somebodyelse.  On the pitch we had Edouard Mendy, Alain Ste. Maximin, Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez and twenty-odd of his fellow Arabs.  I am most disappointed in Firmino of whom I had latterly only seen and heard good things.

With all due respect, the standard of play was lower than the MLS.  In the MLS I only like the Chicago Fire, because Chicago is my hometown!  And the point I have made often before is that Soccer/Football is all about Community, just as Columbus and Wrexham are all about their respective Soccer/Football teams.

Well, the stadium at Al Whatevertheycallit was less than half full.  No doubt it is capacious with a couple hundred Bengalis buried in the concrete, but even their own people can’t be bothered to turn out to watch this rubbish!

And Shame On You, Bobby Firmino – Defector, Turncoat, Traitor!!!
