Sleepy Time For Tired Manchester United

No!! I know it’s my job but I just can’t bring myself to do it!

I mean talk about Manchester United. The city of my youth! When I think about United extreme fatigue is succeded by utter exhaustion. To say they lack luster is to understate the impenetrable gloom hovering over the team.

Today West Ham knocked in two past United’s hapless Onana. Jarod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus netted for the Irons. In-form Paqueta was instrumental, setting up each. At the other end the United goal drought continued. Meanwhile it turns out Jim Ratcliffe is only up for buying 25% of these sleepwalkers!

That same lethargy lay over most of the rest of this weekend’s fixtures.  Spurs barely sneaked by Everton who outshot them 18:13. Luton outshot Newcastle, who have lost their sharpness, winning 1:0. Salah cancelled out Gabriel’s fifth minute goal and the Liverpool/Arsenal match subsided into an Anfield impasse.

We’re going to bed early with the dream that the League will get out of bed on the right side next week.
