Is he conflicted or just polymath? It may be another one-off but in that NBC Half Time Show during the Crystal Palace v Liverpool game we saw the potential of a Neville/Earle tag team. If I were JK Rowling I would call them Parry and Thrust, Purveyors of Sharp Observations and Rapier Wit.
Hope this means the end for slack-brained Tim Howard! And what has Neville done in managership? A failure with the England Women. A failure at Inter Miami. A placeholder in Canada.
He may be making an each-way bet right now but sooner or later he will have to decide which side he wants to butter his bread! My vote would be to join the Best Team of Sports Commentators in the Land. King Arlo is dead. Long live Queen Rebecca and the Gentlemen of her Court!
